Join us in the cool of the late afternoon for a scenic beach walk with stunning views over the ocean cliffs and a chance to watch the sunset from Quinns Beach Lookout.

Date: Sunday 19th January 2025
Time: 5:30 pm for a 6:00 pm departure
Meeting Point: Carpark inland of Portofinos Beach Bar (2 Quinns Rd, Mindarie)
Menu: Portofinos Bar & Kitchen – All food & drinks are for your own cost.

Route Details:
• We’ll follow the raised beach path (or the sandy beach) south past the cliffs to our turn-around point at Rosslare Park.
• We’ll return past our cars and continue to Quinns Beach Lookout to watch the sunset at 7:24 pm.
• After sunset, we’ll head back to Portofinos where those who wish can stay for a meal.
Extra Information:
• There is a shark-netted area in front of Portofinos, so feel free to come early for a swim.
• The walk is approximately 6 km in total: 2.2 km for the southern leg (return) and 3.6 km for the northern leg (return).
Note: Bring a jacket as the sea breeze can get quite chilly.
