Bushwalking Australia is the National body representing the interests of bushwalkers and other recreational walkers. There are many issues affecting bushwalkers which extend beyond the boundaries of any one State or that require some level of national coordination or support.
With hundreds of trails crossing the spectacular state of Western Australia, we invite you to discover this part of the world on a Trail – and find yourself in amazing places! From world-class long distance wilderness trails to jaw-dropping gorge walks; forest mountain bike adventures and outback 4WDs, there’s an experience waiting for you.
The Darling Range near Perth offers a wealth of wonderful but poorly-known bushwalking opportunities for those ready and adventurous enough to explore beyond the Bibbulmun Track. Use GPS waypoints, ‘tracks’ and walk route maps on this site to discover more than 70 excellent circuit day walks in the region – a total of more than 1000km of local walking opportunities in our parks and state forests.A majority of the walks on WalkGPS include cross-country hiking, so proficient navigation skills are needed. The route-finding is more suited to GPS-users than to traditional compass navigation.

Team Perth is hub for promoting queer sporting and recreation in Western Australia. Pride Western Australia Incorporated (Pride WA) is Western Australia’s largest community group, representing the lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and intersex community. Originally incorporated in 1993 as Lesbian & Gay Pride (WA) Incorporated, Pride WA has its roots in the 1989 march on Parliament, during the contentious debate about the decriminalisation of sex between consenting men in WA. Since then, Pride WA has grown to stage our community’s largest and favourite events and played an important role in campaigning for gay and lesbian law reform, which saw all State-based discriminatory laws abolished in 2002.
The WA AIDS Council is a non-government organisation committed to the HIV response in Western Australia.
